The Mennonite Church

Core Beliefs

The Mennonite Church began in Zurich, Switzerland in 1525 during the Anabaptist movement and was later led by Menno Simons, who left the Catholic priesthood in 1536.

Mennonites believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and life model, the Trinity, and the authority of Scripture. Faith centers on new life in Christ, believer’s baptism, and a commitment to peace, justice, mercy, and loving all people regardless of race or politics.
