Curriculum & Enrichment Programs

Our developmentally age-appropriate hands-on curriculum encourages students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers. We educate the whole child, finding ways to involve the left and right sides of the brain. WRC students develop a wide range of skills including physical, social, emotional, language, literacy and thinking skills.

Our kindergarten class is taught by a licensed Virginia educator who focuses on creating a joy filled learning environment with a developmentally sensitive curriculum that is held to a high academic standard. The teacher plans a classroom climate that reflects God’s love for us. Through role modeling, we help the children develop Christian attitudes of truth, peace, integrity, and love toward one another. We want each child to feel secure enough to venture into new friendships and assured enough to take new steps toward autonomy
